Surface Preparation
AGA-2000 is a liquid acidic product formulated to remove rust, mill scale, oxides as well as oil and grease from ferrous and non-ferrous
metals prior to painting.
Mixing and Thinning
AGA-2000 is a one component that does not require any mixing.
This special formula contains phosphoric acid as well as biodegradable
surfactants that effectively allow for completely emulsification of
organic soils and rapid conditioning of clean metal surfaces thereby
promoting excellent paint adhesion and corrosion resistance.
Application
Apply the solution as is (no dilution) with spray-on equipment. It is
preferable to spray-on the equipment but the product may also be
applied by brush or with a clean rag. Product must be applied for
5 to 10 minutes and must be kept humid during this period. Then rinse with water and wipe the white residue with a clean cloth.
Allow 1/2 hour for drying prior to painting to insure that the substrate is clean and dry.
Application Conditions
Industry standards are for the substrate temperatures to be above
10º C of the dew point. Condensation due to substrate temperatures
below the dew point can cause flash rusting on prepared steel and
interfere with proper adhesion to the substrate.
Special application techniques may be required above or below
normal application conditions.

Precautions
AGA-2000 is a highly acidic solution. Wear protective clothing such
as rubber gloves, safety glasses and rubber apron when using this
concentrated product. Avoid all contact with the skin and eyes. Keep
